Celebrate Today's Children started as an idea in February 2007 after one of Sheila Applegate's children meditation classes. A few of the mothers wanted to know when the next class was going to be. I knew it would be soon, but had no idea what it would look like. I then found out that Sheila's children Sarah and Justin have been wanting her to do more events for children. The four of us brainstormed and came up with the name Celebrate Children. Later we found out that the name "Celebrate Children" was already in use, so we decided on "Celebrate Today's Children". Since summer was coming soon, a few days of camp sounded like fun. We laughed about a few more names and eventually arrived at Fantasy Fun Camp.

That was the easy part. After that, the question became, "What are we going to do and who is going to help us?" We started talking and telling others about our idea and people started asking if they could be apart of Celebrate Today's Children. Justin Gerace joined our team, and he is the reason why we have this great website. He is seventeen and is a genius with computers. We are honored that Justin decided to join our team and extremely grateful for all his insight. The wonderful folks over at Coburn design made our logo, thank you!

I had meet Liala, a principal, at a conference we both attended. I told her that I was looking for like-minded people who would like to help with a children's summer camp, and she happily jumped on board! Sarah Dalton was going to be on sabbatical over the summer, and as a teacher loved the idea of teaching with all of us.

Celebrate Today's Children was formed from our love for Children. Our strong belief in Spirit guilds us to embracing the child within. The Children of today have been labeled with many titles... Spirit Babies, Star Children, Indigo Children, Crystal Children, Sensitives, Gifted Children, Children with ADHD, ADA, and many more. Now is the time to celebrate all the children of the the world. As the energy of the world and the frequency gathers higher, we need to honor every being of light. Celebrate Today's Children integrates many ways of connecting to these children so adults and the children can better understand today's child. We also help the world better understand their spiritual gifts and demonstrate how to create an environment that is nurturing and effective for these incredible souls.
